About Nathan
Wyoming Class of ’99
I began my story in Wyoming at in the fifth grade at Wyoming Middle School. Some of my best childhood memories remain the same that our kids enjoy today: May Fete, the first day of school, Fall Festival, Friday night football games, and learning day after day.

My Family
My family story is one that keeps coming back to Wyoming. From the time my mother, little brother, and I moved to Grove Avenue in 1991, part of my family has remained in Wyoming. My father and stepmother moved into their house on Vermont Avenue, where they remain today.
In 2018, my wife, daughter, and I moved in on Euclid Avenue, where we remain today. Our daughter began her Wyoming City Schools story at Vermont, and by first grade was a happy Elmer.
It wasn’t long after we returned to Wyoming that my mother moved back, choosing a house on Stout Avenue. So now we have three generations proudly living in this city.
My Education
After graduating from Wyoming High School in 1999, I spent two years at The Ohio State University, before completing my education at The University of Cincinnati as a proud Bearcat, in the graduating class of 2005 in the College of Engineering. I soon returned to the U.C. Carl H. Lindner College of Business, where I earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Information Systems.
Professional Experience
I have been a Data Analysis and Commercial Operations Specialist for Hewlett-Packard and then for Johnson & Johnson since 2011.

May Fete
I have run the Pretzels and Nachos booth at May Fete since 2022. I have always loved May Fete, and it’s a highlight of the year. I love seeing all of the families enjoying the day, and serving up nachos, pretzels, popcorn, and candy. Have you tried Mr. Fay’s Ghost Pepper Salsa?
Experience with the Board of Education
I have worked with the Wyoming City Schools Board of Education since 2022 on the Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC represents community voices to research and advise the board on important issues.
In the first CAC term, I worked with a team to create a report on gifted services in the district. You can read the gifted services report here.

In 2023, my team created a report advising on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the schools. It included recommendations on student conduct, instruction, as well as how the district can use AI tools. You can read the AI report here.
One of the recommendations of that AI report was to create a community advisory panel on AI. In 2024, I was invited to be a part of that panel. We worked to create a more comprehensive policy recommendation for the District.
